Domino's Pizza Pavilion Tawau

It took almost 2 months after its opening for the typical 'early opening hype' to settle down and for me to finally visit this fast food franchise, located at the front of the Pavilion shoplot at Jalan Kuhara (on the same building as Gemilang Supermarket). I really like the food at their KK branches so I was hoping for similarly yummy food here. And thankfully I was not disappointed, as the Thin Crust BBQ Chicken pizza, Sambal Tuna Blaze fold as well as their onion rings, mushroom soup and Chocolate Lava Cake were on par with the aforementioned. But their seating area were fairly limited so deliveries or takeaways might be an option to consider when ordering. And nothing much to comment about their order completion time, as we were the first ones there that afternoon so obviously our orders were completed reasonably quickly.

Taste Two Tong Sui House

Generally speaking I like the laid back vibe of this eatery-cum-hangout place. It's a perfect place for a relaxing 'kupi kupi' while munching on some light snacks and simple dishes. So when me and my hubby went there recently, we tried out their Maggi Oreng + Ayam Goreng, Nasi Goreng Luncheon together with some Ribena Lemon & Luo Han Guo and everything were just nice and satisfying. Although their available menu items tend to change depending on the day, most of their food centers around typical comfort food and Chinese snacks (which reminds me of my childhood). Plus, the oldies Chinese decor of the place really suits the overall vibe of the place, what with its location being right next to a temple at Taman Jambu, Jalan Sin Onn (right in front of the Union Tea House). And yes, judging from their name, I think they're a branch of sorts to the Taste Two restaurant and are only opened from 2pm to 12am daily.
