So it finally happened. Because of the rising Covid19 numbers in Tawau, my residential area was unfortunately one of those places that had been declared EMCO very recently. With me staying put at home 24/7 now, I finally have some more time to update this blog.
If you are craving for 'kampung style' local food then it might be a good idea to try this place out (they're located within the Fajar Complex area, on the same row as W&L fast food eatery). They have a variety of set dishes such as the Set Putu, Set Sianglag, Set Ikan Baulu + Latok and Set Pucuk Ubi + Ikan Basong. Sadly, me and my partner were not in the mood for such dishes when we made our way there and instead choose the typical Nasi Lalap and Mee Goreng Lalap. I know, I know.. Our loss! But we will probably be checking out those aforementioned food later, when the current situation permits it of course. But I was curious about their Milo Ducanova choco bubble tea drink that I had it to go. The drink was good but the cheese cream might not be err.. fresh (I guess?) as it took several sips for me to get past the weird after taste.
