We opted to include breakfast together with our Magellan Sutera Resort recent stay and I must say that we'd made the right choice. Breakfast was mainly prepared & served by their main restaurant which was The Five Sails (located on the lower ground floor of said resort, overlooking one of their swimming pool areas & a small private beach). The overall spread were pretty impressive, what with the multiple different food stalls in the al fresco area as well as the various food spread inside (which includes typical Malaysian 'heavy' dishes to the usuals like bread, pastries and even free bottled yogurt). The food that we'd managed to sampled within our two days vacay were all well cooked & seasoned. The restaurant itself was also pretty spacious and staff members were diligent in doing their tasks. A minor 'incident' that the resort might want to take note however was when there were some confusion going on regarding the seating of guests & the staff were arguing about it amongst themselves loudly in the middle of the dining area (which can be viewed as somewhat unprofessional). But a personal shoutout to this particular staff member manning the front on our first day (I forgot to ask for her name) for being very polite and even offered some free drinks vouchers for us to use at their lounges. Loved her effort & it actually made our day.
