To close off my KK foodieventure this time around (or else I should just change my blog's name to KK Foodaholic instead by the looks of it), me and hubby decided to stop by the Mountain Valley Resort, Bundu Tuhan again on our way back to Tawau. But this time around, we made sure that we try out their main restaurant the Kloud Restaurant Bar & Cafe instead of their frontside cafe (which is located deep within the premise - the restaurant is open to the public even without a room reservation). We were there sometime during the evening so unfortunately the mountain was not visible from the restaurant (but they do have a beautiful view of the latter especially during breakfast) but that didn't stop us from ordering their Nasi Goreng Kodop, Mee Mamak and Eggplant Fries. The menu might seemed ordinary (with above average pricing no less) but I can assure you guys that the food were actually delicious and well worth it. My hubby was initially not a fan of eggplant but he ended up clearing the plate by himself 😅 And since it was cold in Kundasang, we also had a satisfying Hot Milo and Hot Chocolate as our drinks and both were lovely.
*And here's some bonus pics of the much clearer Kinabalu mountain from our room the morning after (the same room that we had last time, which was right above the restaurant)...
